We cannot wait to celebrate with you on our special day.The wedding dress code is formal attire. Please wear a suit of any color, nice cocktail dress or pantsuit.Keep in mind that the ceremony and after ceremony drinks will be outdoors in a garden, with dinner and dancing in the greenhouse. In the evening it will likely be chilly when leaving the venue.The average temperature in Stockholm around August are:Daytime highs: around 20–22 °C (68–72 °F)Nighttime lows: around 13–15 °C (55–59 °F)If there is rain the ceremony will be moving into a tent at Rosendals.

Dress Code

Old Town or Gamla Stan is in the center of Stockholm and is the oldest part of the town. It has shops, cafes, wine bars, cocktails, antiques and beautiful architecture--it's worth at least a short walk during your trip.

The Vasa is one of the most visited museums in Scandinavia--home of the ship Vasa, a preserved 17th century ship that capsized and sank in 1628. If you have free time in Stockholm we highly recommend checking it out.

Stockholm's City Hall is a worthwhile tour if you can fit it into your schedule. It is the venue of the&nbsp;<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nobel_Banquet" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Nobel Prize banquet</a>&nbsp;and has amazing views of the city. They have guided tours in English throughout the day.

This hotel has a creative, musical vibe and it is directly behind the ABBA Museum.

If you want a 5-star experience in Stockholm, we recommend the Grand Hotel. It has an excellent spa and has gorgeous views of the water and the royal palace. It is a 14 minutes taxi ride to the wedding venue or 22 minutes by public transportation (a 5 minute walk included)

Hilton Stockholm Slussen has great rates as well as a great view of Stockholm. We are working on a room block rate for those interested.&nbsp; It is a 15 min taxi ride to the venue or 26 min by public transportation.

The closest airport by far is Arlanda Airport in Sigtuna, Sweden. From Arlanda it is a 18 minute express train ride to the center of Stockholm. The Arlanda Express drops you off at Stockholm Central Station where you walk directly to a taxi rank. You can also take a taxi directly from Arlanda--it's a 45 minute taxi ride to the center of town. If taking a taxi choose the company Taxi Stockholm 15 00 00.

Whenever you are taking a taxi in Stockholm, we highly recommend you select Taxi Stockholm 15 00 00. When you approach a taxi rank you do not have to take the first taxi in the line--go to the taxi company you trust.
